Luka Rayski
Born in Warsaw in 1982. In 2009, he graduated cum laude from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the department of Graphic Arts. Granted with the Fulbright Scholarship, in 2014 he obtained his MFA in Fine Arts at Parsons School of Design in New York. In his artistic practice he focuses on painting in a larger sense, poster design and press illustration. In the Geppert Competition at the National Exhibition of Young Painters in 2007, he was awarded with the Prize of Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. He also won many prizes for posters, as the first prize at the competition of Poster Gallery AMS in 2006. Since 2009, he publishes drawings in numerous magazines such as Tygodnik Polityka, Wysokie Obcasy, Tygodnik Powszechny among others.
